Project manager in geo-environment

Brief description of tasks

  • Plan, organize and control the various stages of the Phase I environmental site assessment study, characterization and environmental rehabilitation;
  • Participate in multidisciplinary projects;
  • Coordinate and supervise technical field teams;
  • Analyze and interpret field data;
  • Prepare service offers;
  • Write technical reports;
  • Apply and enforce project health and safety programs;
  • Manage the internal communication of the project as well as with customers and suppliers;
  • Ensure budget monitoring and project timelines;
  • Develop a relationship of trust with customers.

Salary offered : To be discussed + Performance bonus

Hours/week : 37.5 hours/week

Prerequisites for this job

  • Bachelor's degree in geology, geological or civil engineering (specialization in environment and/or geotechnics);
  • Member in good standing of the order of engineers or geologist of Quebec (an asset);
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the environment;
  • Possess a car and a valid driver's license (frequent travel);
  • Bilingualism (an asset);
  • Possess the ASP Construction and WHMIS card (an asset);
  • Good knowledge of the applicable regulations;
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
