Most financial institutions require businesses and industries to produce environmental studies to confirm the environmental quality of their properties prior to any financing request. The Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment is an excellent basis for any additional site inspections

A Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment consists of identifying existing and potential recognized environmental concerns associated with the study site and surrounding properties, using various observation and research methods (aerial photographs, building indexes, fire insurance plans, government databases, site inspection visit, interview, etc.).

Our Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments are conducted in accordance with the Ministry of the Environment's Land Characterization Guide, CSA - Z768-01 and ASTM E1527 standards and the applicable requirements of the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), with a view to verifying the environmental compliance of the site under study.
